Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookies

Can you make chocolate chip cookies in the air fryer? Yes! And it’s not that hard. The result is a delicious cookie that hardly anyone can tell was made in the air fryer. Keep in mind that the total cooking time may vary based on the size of your air fryer. For instance, if you have a massive air fryer you may fit multiples at once, but if you have a small air fryer you may only fit one at a time. (Depending on how big you make the cookies.) But one way to save time is for me to stop writing and for you to start baking!

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 sticks soft butter
  • ¾ cup of white sugar
  • ¾ cup of brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups of chocolate chips (14oz)

Let’s get started!

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 325°F (163°C)
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, with an electric mixer, cream together the softened butter and both sugars.
  4. Once fully combined, add the eggs one at a time, and then add the vanilla extract.
  5. Sift in the flour mixture, until well combined. If the dough is still sticky, you may need to chill the dough in the refrigerator for a little.
  6. Now the fun part! Add the chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop and roll the cookies dough to doughballs, and then gently flatten them a little bit.
  8. Cut out a piece of parchment paper that fit your air fryer, you don’t need to do this, but if you don’t, the cookies will be a little deformed.
  9. Bake in batches for 7-9 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Let them cool for a little before eating. (Unless you want to eat one hot.)
  11. Enjoy! You can eat them directly from the air fryer (but be careful not to burn yourself) or let them cool to room temperature.
