Healthy chocolate Chip Cookies

Healthy chocolate chip cookies? Yes, you heard me right. There is a such thing as healthy chocolate chip cookies that are delicious and even naturally gluten free. They are also sugar free, and they are also much lower in cholesterol. Which make them perfect for that friend who can’t eat everything. They are also perfect for eating more often since they are healthy. (See, now you’ve got yourself an excuse to eat cookies more often just tell everyone who complains, ”but they’re healthy.”)

Ingredients

  • 5 tbsp milk (dairy or plant based)
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 4 tbsp of agave syrup
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips

Let’s get started!

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C)
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the oat flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Melt the coconut oil.
  4. Once you have melted the coconut oil, stir it in along with the milk, agave, and vanilla extract.
  5. Now the fun part! Add the chocolate chips. Be careful not to overmix, then the chocolate chips might start coloring the dough
  6. Scoop and roll the cookies dough to doughballs, and then gently flatten them a little bit.
  7. Bake for 9-10 minutes and remove them from the oven when they are slightly undercooked, they will firm up as they cool.
  8. Let them cool directly on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing them to cool completely. (Unless you want to eat one hot.)
  9. Enjoy! You can eat them directly from the oven or let then cool to room temperature.
