The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
These are the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever tasted. (Also, the best chocolate chip cookies everyone I know has ever tasted.) And that’s why you are simply going to make these over and over again, because there is nothing better than a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie.
Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 2 sticks soft butter
- ¾ cup of white sugar
- ¾ cup of brown sugar
- 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp baking soda
- ¾ tsp salt
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups of chocolate chips (14oz)

Let’s get started!
- In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, with an electric mixer, cream together the softened butter and both sugars.
- Once fully combined, add the eggs one at a time, and then add the vanilla extract.
- Sift in the flour mixture, until well combined. If the dough is still sticky, you may need to chill the dough in the refrigerator for a little.
- Now the fun part! Add the chocolate chips. Be careful not to overmix, then the chocolate chips might start coloring the dough
- Scoop and roll the cookies dough to doughballs, and then gently flatten them a little bit.
- Bake for 7-9 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let them cool directly on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing them to cool completely. (Unless you want to eat one hot.)
- Enjoy! You can eat them directly from the oven or let then cool to room temperature.
